In this workshop we will take the time to expand our Contact Improvisation duet and add to it another partner or even partners.

Most of the people with experience in this form are accustmed to dance in a duet, with one partner sharing our weight and movement pathways – once adding another element to this mix, there are very different elements to consider and to adjust and balance.

In this special workshop we will start from our classical duet and slowly add elements to it in the form of other partners.

This was a great experience last time I gave this workshop in Amsterdam and I wish to bring it further out there – one of the participants described it as – “All the cool stuff that you can add to a jam”.

This workshop is intended for all levels of practitioners of Contact Improvisation from beginners to very experienced practitioners  (If you have never done contact, it is advisable to have a few classes before joining the workshop).

I am a performance artist, dancer and a dance teacher in the field of Dance & Contact Improvisation.
After finishing my studies in Israel I moved to Amsterdam and co-founded with 5 other performance artists the group – Mono Collective that performs free and anchored Dance pieces. 
In the last years I have been performing and giving workshops on the techniques of Improvisation in Dance and Contact.
I have been teaching contact and dance for over 15 years all around the world, on internationally acknowledged festivals and dance training. 

All of the above are just words that are basically saying: Dance is my passion and I love to share it with everyone.

Cancellation

Cancellations may not be pretty, but they happen because life moves. Unfortunately, we cannot bear the risk of failures alone. If you withdraw from the registration, you will receive from the seminar fee:

Up to 6 weeks before you’ll get 80% back, up to 2 weeks before you’ll get 50% back. Thereafter, the full participation fee will be due.

It is possible to appoint a replacement person.

If the workshop has to be cancelled by the instructor or motionlab.cologne, you will be rebooked for a workshop of your choice in the three following months free of charge.

DIERIO

In diesem Workshop werden wir uns die Zeit nehmen, unser Contact Improvisation Duett zu erweitern und einen oder mehrere Partner hinzuzufügen.

Die meisten Menschen mit Contact-Erfahrung sind daran gewöhnt, im Duett zu tanzen, mit einem Partner, der unser Gewicht und unsere Bewegungswege teilt – sobald ein weiteres Element zu dieser Mischung hinzukommt, gibt es ganz andere Elemente zu berücksichtigen, anzupassen und auszugleichen.

In diesem speziellen Workshop werden wir von unserem klassischen Duett ausgehen und langsam Elemente in Form von anderen Partnern hinzufügen.

Es war eine großartige Erfahrung, als ich diesen Workshop das letzte Mal in Amsterdam gegeben habe, und ich möchte das Format unbedingt weiterführen – einer der Teilnehmer beschrieb ihn als – „All die coolen Sachen, die man in einer Jam machen kann“.

Dieser Workshop richtet sich an alle Niveaus von Praktikern der Contact Improvisation, vom Anfänger bis zum sehr erfahrenen Praktiker (Wenn du noch nie Contact getanzt hast, ist es ratsam sich vorher Basiswissen anzueignen).

Ich bin Performancekünstler, Tänzer und Tanzpädagoge im Bereich Dance & Contact Improvisation. Nach Abschluss meines Studiums in Israel zog ich nach Amsterdam und gründete mit 5 anderen Performancekünstlern die Gruppe Mono Collective, die freie und verankerte Tanzstücke aufführt. In den letzten Jahren habe ich mit Techniken der Improvisation in Tanz und Kontakt gespielt und Workshops gegeben. Ich unterrichte seit über 15 Jahren Kontakt und Tanz auf der ganzen Welt, auf international anerkannten Festivals und Tanzausbildungen.

All das sind nur Worte, die im Grunde sagen: Tanz ist meine Leidenschaft und ich liebe es, sie mit allen zu teilen.

Stornierung

Stornierungen sind zwar nicht schön, passieren aber einfach, weil das Leben sich bewegt. Leider können wir das Risiko durch Ausfälle nicht alleine tragen. Solltest Du von der Anmeldung zurücktreten, bekommst Du vom Seminarbeitrag:

Bis 6 Wochen vorher bekommst du 80% zurück, bis 2 Wochen vorher bekommst du 50% zurück. Danach wird die volle Teilnahmegebühr fällig.

Das Stellen einer Ersatzperson ist möglich.

Sollte der Workshop durch den Dozenten oder motionlab.cologne abgesagt werden müssen, erfolgt eine kostenlose Umbuchung auf einen Workshop deiner Wahl in den drei Folgemonaten.
