We research connections in the structures of the body, the bones, fascia, muscles and organs, we explore the connections in the whole body. This self-awareness is rising the question: How can I offer my dance partner a floor on which he can land safely, even at lofty heights? Balance, centring and orientation in space are some of the other aspects that enable a balanced dance in solid contact with oneself. In this way, you give your fellow dancers a clear frame of reference, a partner who is open to the gift of encounter, connected inside and outside.

Working with Benno means that you will be studying with someone who has over 30 years of experience in Contact dance and teaching and who has been researching the boundaries of what is possible with Contact today. This research includes the somatic approach of Contact as well as physical and ethical aspects. Benno has also been involved with Shiatsu for over 30 years. This form of touch has strongly influenced his way of dancing and teaching Contact.

BENNO ENDERLEIN

studied from 1989 to 1993 at the „European Dance Development Centre“ in Arnheim (NL). Since 1991 he is teaching Contact Improvisation. He likes to research and teach especially in the border areas of CI, like Contact & Tango, Contact & Shiatsu, Contact & Tanta or Contact in the element water, because these areas allow to recognize habitual patterns from daily life and Contact practice, to reflect on them and be able to unfold the full potential of possibilities. Furthermore he practices meditation- and consciousness techniques and organizes dance events for more than 30 years now. He was a co-founder and organizor from the international CI Freiburg Festival. He is married and has one daughter.

Cancellation

Cancellations may not be pretty, but they happen because life moves. Unfortunately, we cannot bear the risk of failures alone. If you withdraw from the registration, you will receive from the seminar fee:

Up to 6 weeks before you’ll get 80% back, up to 2 weeks before you’ll get 50% back. Thereafter, the full participation fee will be due.

It is possible to appoint a replacement person.

If the workshop has to be cancelled by the instructor or motionlab.cologne, you will be rebooked for a workshop of your choice in the three following months free of charge.

Wir erforschen Verbindungen in den Strukturen des Körpers, den Knochen, Faszien, Muskeln und Organen, wir erforschen die Zusammenhänge im ganzen Körper. Aus dieser Selbstverbundenheit entsteht die Frage: Wie kann ich meinem Tanzpartner einen Boden bieten, auf dem er auch in luftiger Höhe sicher landen kann? Balance, Zentrierung, Orientierung im Raum sind einige weitere Aspekte, die einen ausbalancierten Tanz im soliden Kontakt mit sich selbst ermöglichen. Damit gibst du deinen MittänzerInnen einen klaren Bezugsrahmen, einen Partner, der offen da ist für das Geschenk der Begegnung, Verbunden nach innen und außen.

Wenn du dich für einen Workshop bei Benno anmeldest, bedeutet das, dass du mit jemandem lernst, der über 30 Jahre Erfahrung im Contact-Tanz und -Unterricht hat und seit dieser Zeit an der Grenze dessen forscht, was heute mit Contact möglich ist. Diese Forschung umfasst sowohl den somatischen Ansatz von Contact als auch physische und ethische Aspekte. Benno beschäftigt sich außerdem seit über 30 Jahren mit Shiatsu. Diese Form der Berührung hat seine Art, Contact zu tanzen und zu unterrichten, stark beeinflusst.

BENNO ENDERLEIN

studierte 1989 bis 1993 am „European Dance Development Center“ der Hochschule Arnheim(NL). Bereits seit 1991 unterrichtet er Contact Improvisation. Er forscht und lehrt gerne an den Randbereichen des Contacts, so auch Contact & Tango, Contact & Shiatsu, Contact & Tantra und Water Contact. All diese Formen am Rande des gewohnten Contact Tanzes ermöglichen ihm, Gewohnheiten zu erkennen, zu überprüfen und das volle Potential an Möglichkeiten auszuschöpfen. Er praktiziert Meditations- und Bewusstseintechniken und organisiert seit über 30 Jahren überregionale Tanzevents. Er war 15 Jahre lang Mit-gründer und -organisator des internationalen Contactfestivals Freiburg. Außerdem ist er verheiratet und Vater_

Stornierung

Stornierungen sind zwar nicht schön, passieren aber einfach, weil das Leben sich bewegt. Leider können wir das Risiko durch Ausfälle nicht alleine tragen. Solltest Du von der Anmeldung zurücktreten, bekommst Du vom Seminarbeitrag:

Bis 6 Wochen vorher bekommst du 80% zurück, bis 2 Wochen vorher bekommst du 50% zurück. Danach wird die volle Teilnahmegebühr fällig.

Das Stellen einer Ersatzperson ist möglich.

Sollte der Workshop durch den Dozenten oder motionlab.cologne abgesagt werden müssen, erfolgt eine kostenlose Umbuchung auf einen Workshop deiner Wahl in den drei Folgemonaten.
