FILM SCREENING – THE ETERNAL SONG
In a place of authentic connection we’d like to screen this film and bring into movement what we hear and see. Instead of stiff theater seats, you’ll find a room lined with mats that invites you to choose your own position—whether sitting, lying down, or moving. Feel free to bring a blanket or pillow so you can get really comfortable. After the film, there will be time to share and process your impressions in a sharing circle.
You also have the opportunity to participate in the Contact Jam, which will start at 7 p.m.
ABOUT THE FILM
The Eternal Song is a cinematic journey through timeless lands and their Indigenous cultures. Voices from around the world and across generations call us to witness the deep, ongoing scars of colonization on lands and peoples, and the healing that comes through ancestral wisdom. Entrusted with medicine stories, we grapple with colonial legacies, intergenerational trauma, our own fragmentation and culture of separation.
The film reveals how modernity severs our connection to nature, each other, and the ancestral realm, while feeding us empty promises of salvation, unlimited consumption and economic growth, and individual happiness. As we are drawn into the intricate web of kinship and honoring the living presence of Mother Earth, we awaken a remembrance. A sacred dance comes to life and we begin to hear the eternal song of Life itself, calling us back to belonging.

Bring dir gerne eine Decke oder ein Kissen mit, damit du es richtig gemütlich hast. Im Anschluss an den Film gibt es Raum, um Eindrücke im Gesprächskreis zu teilen und zu verstoffwechseln.
Du hast auch die Möglichkeit an der Contact Jam teilzunehmen, die um 19 Uhr starten wird.
ÜBER DEN FILM
„The Eternal Song“ ist eine filmische Reise durch zeitlose Landschaften und ihre indigenen Kulturen. Stimmen aus aller Welt und aus verschiedenen Generationen rufen uns dazu auf, die tiefen, bis heute spürbaren Narben der Kolonialisierung auf Land und Völkern zu erkennen – und die Heilung, die durch die Weisheit der Vorfahren entsteht. Mit Heilungsgeschichten betraut, setzen wir uns mit dem kolonialen Erbe, generationsübergreifenden Traumata, unserer eigenen Zersplitterung und einer Kultur der Trennung auseinander.
Der Film zeigt, wie die Moderne unsere Verbindung zur Natur, zueinander und zur Welt der Ahnen durchtrennt, während sie uns leere Versprechungen von Erlösung, unbegrenztem Konsum und Wirtschaftswachstum sowie individuellem Glück vorgaukelt. Während wir in das komplexe Netz der Verbundenheit hineingezogen werden und die lebendige Präsenz von Mutter Erde ehren, erwacht in uns eine Erinnerung. Ein heiliger Tanz erwacht zum Leben, und wir beginnen, das ewige Lied des Lebens selbst zu hören, das uns zurück zur Zugehörigkeit ruft.
